DyThérapie integrated massage
This special and unique massage will perfectly match your needs. DyThérapie will blend different modalities together in order to address your needs during each visit. On top of a Swedish massage base, the techniques mostly used will be Polarity Therapy, Core Synchronism, Reflexology and some points of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Whether you would like a relaxing, soothing, nurturing or energizing treatment, DyThérapie will adapt to your choice. You can also choose to focus more on a physical or mental/emotional level.
Swedish massage
Swedish is the most common type of massage. It is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology. The hands, forearms and elbows are used to manipulate the soft tissue and relax the body and mind. It relieves muscle tensions, relaxes and/or energizes. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be included.
Sports massage
Sports massage is focused on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements. Regular massage is part of many athletes’ injury prevention strategy. Getting a massage every week or two alongside a regular physical activity may be a great addition to a healthy lifestyle. It improves the body’s general condition, enhances pre-event preparation and reduces recovery time.
Pregnancy massage
In the second and third trimester, massage can alleviate symptoms of the major changes that occur during pregnancy. It reduces stress, decreases arm and leg swelling and relieves muscle and joint pain. Massage can be particularly helpful during a time when medication and medical options may be more limited.
Reflexology
Reflexology is based on a system of zones and reflex areas on the feet to promote health and well-being. Stimulating these specific points has a beneficial effect on the organs and body parts they reflex to. Reflexology alleviates pain, reduces anxiety and depression, and enhances relaxation and sleep.
Shiatsu-style massage
Clothed, best suited for 90 minutes.
Shiatsu is a perfect way to decrease muscle tension, reduce stress and relax. Rhythmic acupressure is performed along the Chinese meridians. The body and mind will benefit from the release of blockages and free-flowing Life energy.

Adds On

Hot Stones: Warmed stones are used in conjunction with other massage techniques, it may be quite soothing and relaxing. The stones can be used as massage tools or be temporarily left on certain areas of the body.

Hot Towel: Compressions are applied on top of a warmed towel placed on the back or other body part. It helps with chronic muscle contraction, tightness and sleep quality.

What should I expect from a massage session?

  • You chose the kind and the length of the treatment (60, 90 or 120 minutes).
  • You undress to your level of comfort. You will be draped with a sheet at all times during the treatment. Only the body part treated will be undraped as needed to perform massage procedures.
  • Shiatsu Style massage is performed clothed. Make sure to wear comfortable lightweight clothing.
  • All treatments are non-sexual! The pelvic area and breasts will always remain covered.
  • Feel free to tell us if anything can be adjusted to make your experience even better.
  • You are responsible to let the therapist know of any discomfort during the treatment.
